Jeanne Morgan Zarucchi is a Professor at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, holding a joint appointment in the departments of Art & Design and Language & Cultural Studies since 1995. She joined the faculty in 1985 after earning a Ph.D. in Romance Languages and Literatures. Her interdisciplinary research spans French art and architecture, material culture, and cultural studies, with a focus on Renaissance to 20th-century topics. Notable works include the book *The Material Culture of Tableware: Staffordshire Pottery and American Values* (2018) and a website on French art at the Saint Louis Art Museum.
Education: Ph.D. in Romance Languages and Literatures.
Research interests include art history, literary analysis, and historical criticism. Her work integrates visual and textual analysis, such as examining French art’s cultural significance and Staffordshire pottery’s role in American values. She received the French Government’s Knight in the Order of Academic Palms (2015) for promoting French culture through her website.
