Jeanne Gilliam Fain is a Professor and Director of the English Language Learning (ELL)/Multilingual Learner (MLL) program at Lipscomb University's College of Education. She specializes in K-12 literacy, global literature, and language studies, with a focus on multilingual learners and family engagement. Her roles include grant writing, research on critical conversations around global texts, and community partnerships.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Language, Reading, and Culture (University of Arizona, 2003), focusing on biliteracy and early literacy.
- M.Ed. in Elementary Education with concentrations in Bilingual Education and ESL (Arizona State University, 1993).
- B.S. in Elementary Education with a Spanish minor (Grand Canyon University, 1990).
