Jeanna Mastrocinque

Dr. Jeanna Mastrocinque is an Associate Professor in the Department of Law & Justice Studies at Rowan University's College of Humanities & Social Sciences. Her research examines the intersection of victimization and health outcomes, with focus areas including homicide survivorship, intimate partner violence in the Deaf community, and trauma responses to violent loss.

Her current projects include a Department of Justice-funded initiative ($500,000) advancing hospital-based victim services and a Camden Health Research Initiative grant ($63,000) developing trauma-informed training for healthcare providers. Recent publications explore spirituality after traumatic loss, Deaf community experiences with intimate partner violence, and health consequences for homicide survivors.

Dr. Mastrocinque employs mixed-method approaches to understand victim experiences with response systems and develops interventions addressing barriers in service accessibility.
