Jeanette P. Brown

Jeanette P. Brown, M.D., Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She completed her B.S. in Medical Laboratory Sciences at the University of Utah, followed by dual M.D./Ph.D. training in Immunology at the University of Colorado. After residency and fellowship at the University of Michigan, she joined the University of Utah faculty in 2017.

Her research focuses on immunological mechanisms in allergic asthma and multidisciplinary approaches to respiratory care. She co-founded the Comprehensive COVID Clinic at University of Utah to address long-term effects of SARS-CoV-2 infection, combining clinical care, research, and clinician education. Her publications span pulmonary medicine, critical care, and sleep disorders, with recent work on orthostatic intolerance management and end-of-life care ethics.
