Dr. Jeanette Davis is an Assistant Professor of Marine and Environmental Science at Hampton University (HU), located in Hampton, Virginia. She serves as Principal Investigator (PI) of a $3M NSF grant on racial equity in marine science and co-PI of a $5M ED grant establishing an interdisciplinary climate science program. Her research focuses on eDNA, bacterial symbiosis, and bioremediation in marine ecosystems, particularly the Hampton River watershed.
