Jean-Philippe CHATEAU-CORNU

Jean-Philippe CHATEAU-CORNU is a Professor at the University of Burgundy, affiliated with the Department of Metallurgical Processes, Sustainability, Materials under the Institute of Mechanics, Energetics and Processing (ICP). His career spans over 25 years in academia, with a focus on numerical simulation of metallurgical processes and mechanical behavior of metal alloys including TWIP steels, refractory high entropy alloys (THR), and superalloys.

• Current research includes hot isostatic compaction (HIC) of metal powders and hydrogen/dislocation interactions in stress corrosion cracking
• Teaching leadership in the Master's degree in Processes, Controls, Metallic Materials: Nuclear Industry (PC2M) program
• Previously held positions at Ecole des Mines de Nancy and Jean Lamour Institute (1998-2014)
