Jean-Pascal Lemelin is a full-time Associate Professor at Université de Sherbrooke, specializing in developmental psychology and psychoeducation. His research focuses on emotional development, school maladjustment, behavioral problems, and parent-child relationships. He holds a PhD in Psychology (2004) and postdoctoral training from Université Laval (2007).

Research interests include temperament, early school readiness, child and adolescent development, and behavioral problems. His recent work explores temperament profiles, parental mentalizing, and interventions for vulnerable children.

Scientific awards include prestigious postdoctoral and doctoral fellowships from CIHR, SSHRC, and FRQSC.
