Jean-Matthieu Etancelin

Jean-Matthieu Etancelin is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour. With an engineering background from INSA Rouen and PhD from Université Joseph Fourier, he specializes in high-performance computing algorithms for fluid dynamics. His current research focuses on reactive microfluidic flows in porous media using hybrid CPU-GPU architectures.

He leads projects on carbonate rock failure modeling and mineral CO2 storage, collaborating with ANR and I-Site E2S-UPPA. Previous industry experience includes GPU optimization work at ROMEO HPC Center and aeronautical simulations with ONERA.
