Jean-Marc Sotiropoulos

Jean-Marc Sotiropoulos is a Research Professor at the University of Pau and the Pays de l'Adour (UPPA), affiliated with the Institute of Analytical Sciences and Physico-Chemistry for the Environment and Materials (IPREM). His research focuses on molecular architectures, chemical reactivity, electronic properties, and the development of advanced materials, including photovoltaic systems and organometallic compounds. He holds a PhD from Paul Sabatier University (1991) and a HDR (Authorization to Direct Research) from UPPA (2002).

Key research themes include synthesis of organic/inorganic molecules, reaction intermediates, and experimental modeling of complex processes. His work spans organometallic chemistry, catalysis, and optoelectronic materials.
