Jean-Benoit Morin is a Full Professor in the Department of Sport Sciences and Physical Education at Université Jean Monnet, Saint-Étienne, France, where he also serves as Head of Department. He is a researcher at the Interuniversity Laboratory of Human Movement Science (LIBM), an Associate Researcher at Auckland University of Technology, and a Visiting Professor at Loughborough University, UK.

His recent publications highlight trends in force-velocity profiling, wearable technology validation, hamstring injury mechanisms, running biomechanics under fatigue, and advanced footwear effects. These works span elite sprinting, team sports, trail running, and rehabilitation contexts, often involving international collaborations and field-based data collection.
