Dr. Jazmine Skinner is a Lecturer in Animal Science at the School of Agriculture and Environmental Science, University of Southern Queensland. She holds a PhD in Equine Science from the University of Queensland and focuses on proteomics, vitamin K metabolism, and animal nutrition in horses. Her teaching areas include animal health, nutrition, reproduction, and agricultural technology.

Her research employs proteomic techniques to identify biomarkers for disease in production and companion animals, alongside advanced sensors for health monitoring. Dr. Skinner supervises doctoral students in equine metabolic syndrome and pest monitoring in beef production. She is an associate supervisor for research projects on insulin dynamics and agricultural technology. Professional memberships include the Australasian Equine Science Society, Equine Science Society, and Australian Association of Animal Sciences.
