Javier Gracia Calandín

Javier Gracia Calandín is a Full Professor of Moral, Political, and Social Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the University of Valencia. He coordinates the Philosophy specialization within the Master's Degree for Secondary Education Teachers and has been a professor in the Master's Degree in Ethics and Democracy and its doctoral program since 2009.

• Education: BA and PhD in Philosophy from the University of Valencia, with a European Doctorate title and an Extraordinary Doctorate Award.

Research Interests: His work focuses on the philosophy and ethics of education, political and social philosophy, moral neuroeducation, critical hermeneutics, and cosmopolitan and intercultural ethics. These areas reflect interdisciplinary engagement with pedagogy, ethics, and sociopolitical theory.

Leadership & Affiliations: He coordinates the Educational Innovation Network in Philosophy (RIEF) and participates in various academic associations and editorial boards of specialized journals.
