Javier Cerrillo Moreno is a Full Professor at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and Deputy Director of Institutional and Business Promotion at the Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering. He leads the Quantum Technologies Group as a Principal Investigator within the Department of Applied Physics and Naval Technology. His research focuses on quantum information science, quantum communication technologies, and laser applications in quantum systems.
Education & Previous Positions:
- PhD in Physics from Imperial College London (2009-2012)
- Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT (2012-2014)
- Research Assistant (Wissenschaftlicher Assistent) at Technische Universität Berlin (2014-2019)
