Jason Wiser

Jason Wiser is a Part-time Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Tufts University's School of Engineering. He holds a Master of Fine Arts from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University.

His research and professional interests focus on digital game design and computer animation, with notable contributions to the entertainment industry. He has developed commercially published games including Slam Bolt Scrappers (PS3/Steam), Dance Central (XBOX/Kinect), and DinoTrucks (iPad). His work has also appeared in prestigious venues such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and MIT Media Lab's Personal Robots Group.

Wiser has held academic roles at Harvard, Northeastern, Emerson College, and The New England Institute of Art (where he served as Department Chair of Animation and Game Development). He leads Yaya Play Games as Creative Director and teaches master classes at Pixar Animation Studios, Microsoft, and MIT.
