Dr. Jason Peters is an Associate Professor in the English Department at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), San Luis Obispo. He serves as the First-Year Composition Program Coordinator and English Major Advisor. His research focuses on composition theory, environmental rhetoric, translingualism, and language policy. Peters holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Rhode Island (2015), an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Emerson College (2010), and a B.A. in English from Rhode Island College (1999).
