معرفی
Associate Professor Jason Lee is a Principal Research Fellow at the Frazer Institute within the University of Queensland's Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences. His research focuses on cancer biology, immunology, and epigenetics, with a particular emphasis on tumor immunology, epigenetic modifiers in cancer progression, and genetic risk factors for breast and other cancers. Lee leads multiple funded projects, including studies on early cancer detection biomarkers and novel immunotherapy approaches. He collaborates widely, publishing in top journals such as Nature Immunology and Cancer Research.
His work spans translational research, including investigations into NK cell biology, checkpoint inhibitor responses in melanoma, and the role of histone methyltransferases like G9a. Lee is actively involved in supervising PhD candidates exploring topics like epigenetic therapies for recurrent cancers and biomarker development for ovarian and pancreatic cancers. His laboratory's contributions bridge basic science discoveries and clinical applications in oncology and immunotherapy.
Lee's funding includes grants from organizations like the NHMRC and Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. He has a strong publication record spanning over 45 peer-reviewed articles since 2003, with recent work focusing on breast cancer risk variants, immunomodulatory pathways, and therapeutic strategies targeting epigenetic regulation.
