Jason Landis Downing is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Colorado State University (CSU). He holds a Master's degree from Minnesota State University and focuses on Environmental Sociology, Race/Ethnicity, Social Inequality, Food Systems, and Organic Agriculture. His work intersects environmental issues, food justice, and social equity.

Research Interests: Downing explores how environmental policies impact marginalized communities, examines racial inequities in access to healthy food systems, and advocates for organic agriculture as a tool for social justice.
