Jason LaRoche

Jason LaRoche is a PhD candidate in Sustainable Design at the Industrial Design Engineering Department of Delft University of Technology. He is also Director of Innovative Health at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines, focusing on environmental sustainability in clinical research. His work includes leading global initiatives to integrate sustainability into clinical trial operations. He holds over 19 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, 15 of which with Johnson & Johnson, where he drives transformative projects shaping clinical trial innovation.

Research interests center on predicting greenhouse gas emissions of clinical trials and applying circular business models to digital health solutions. Recent publications address climate footprints of clinical trials and digital sustainability policies. He collaborates widely across academia and industry to advance sustainable practices in healthcare.
