Jason Krupar is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of Cincinnati's College of Arts and Sciences. Previously affiliated with the OMI College of Applied Science (2002-2010), his career spans over two decades in academia. He earned his Ph.D. in American Social Policy History from Case Western Reserve University (2000), with expertise in technology policy and U.S. social politics.

Research Interests: Dr. Krupar specializes in Cold War science and technology history, particularly the Manhattan Project and nuclear policy. He explores themes of atomic legacy preservation, racial justice in nuclear programs, and the intersection of technology with social policy. His work emphasizes underrepresented narratives in nuclear history through projects like Atomic Heartland: The Ohio River Valley and the Bomb and The Jim Crowed Bomb.
Grants & Awards: Recipient of the 2008 Christine L. Oravac Book Award for his contribution to Nuclear Legacies. Secured multiple grants including Taft Research Travel Grants (2011-2012) and UC Faculty Development Fellowships. Active in editorial roles for the Ohio Valley History Journal.
