Dr Jason Jenkins is a Clinical Professor and Director of Vascular Surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) and the Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH). He also holds leadership roles as Director of Surgical Services at Metro North Hospital and Health Services (MNHHS), Director of Procedural Services at Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Services (STARS), and Clinical Program Lead in the Hudson Institute of Medical Research (HBI) Vascular Surgery Research Program.
Research Interests: Jason Jenkins focuses on advancing vascular surgery through innovative technologies, particularly additive biomanufacturing. His work explores
- 3D printing of patient-specific vascular stents and grafts
- Cellular-level solutions for vascular disease
- Applications of additive manufacturing in treating aneurysms and atherosclerosis
- Bioengineered vascular devices
