Jason Hartford is a Research Professor and Dame Kathleen Ollerenshaw Fellow specializing in Machine Learning and Robotics. He leads the Research Unit at Valence Labs since April 2023 and holds a Doctor of Science from the University of British Columbia (2021). His research focuses on causal representation learning, causal inference from unstructured data, and deep learning methodologies.
