Jason Del Gandio is a Teaching Professor at Temple University's Department of Communication Studies within the Lew Klein College of Media and Communication. His scholarship focuses on the intersections of performance, philosophy, and rhetoric in the context of social justice activism and social movements.

Del Gandio's research explores social justice rhetoric, activist communication, and the philosophical foundations of resistance. He integrates Italian Autonomism, phenomenology, and poststructuralist theory into his work on social movements and political argumentation.
His publications include the co-edited volumes Educating for Action (2014) and The Terrorization of Dissent (2014), along with his foundational book Rhetoric for Radicals (2008). His academic focus spans social movement theory, rhetorical strategy, and critical pedagogy.
Del Gandio actively engages in public advocacy through roles as:
