Jason D Buxbaum is an Assistant Professor of Health Services, Policy and Practice at Brown University School of Health. He is affiliated with the Center for Advancing Health Policy through Research. His research focuses on US healthcare spending dynamics, particularly acute care resource allocation and the impact of federal relief funding. He holds a PhD in health policy from Harvard University (2024), an MHSA from the University of Michigan (2014), and a BA from Bates College (2008).
