Dr. Jason Bowey is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Saskatchewan. He holds a PhD (2021) and BSc (2014) in Computer Science from the same institution. His research focuses on game design, player experience, and the psychological dimensions of digital games, including narrative design, social dynamics, and gender-related issues in gaming environments.

Research interests include understanding player-character belief congruence, the impact of dialogue choices in RPGs, and the effects of social exclusion on gameplay. Recent studies address topics like sexist beliefs in games and the application of spaced practice intervals in skill development.
