Jasmin Leopold is a Researcher at the Department of Theology and Diaconal Studies within the Faculty of History, Philosophy and Theology at the University of Bielefeld. She serves as a research assistant to Prof. Dr. Dr. Thomas Witulski and is involved in academic staff activities.
- Education: Master of Arts in English, Scandinavian Studies, and West Slavic Philology (University of Cologne, 2012); 1st and 2nd State Examinations for Protestant Religious Education and English (Gymnasium Köln-Pesch, 2011-2014)
Her research focuses on the development of community structures in early Christianity, particularly in cities of Asia Minor during the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. This work builds on her dissertation topic, "Primitive and Early Christianity in Asia Minor."
Professionally, she has held lecturer positions at multiple institutions, including teaching roles in Protestant Religious Education (Cologne, 2019-2020) and New/Old Testament studies at the Universities of Cologne and Bielefeld between 2011 and 2018.
