Dr. Jarryd Daymond is a Lecturer in Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Sydney Business School, where he serves as Academic Director (Strategic Initiatives) and Convenor of the Innovation and Commercialisation node at the Sydney Policy Lab. He is affiliated with multiple university institutes including the Sydney Environment Institute, the Centre for Drug Discovery Innovation, and the Sydney Nano Institute.
His research focuses on the intersection of responsible innovation, emerging technologies (quantum, biomedical, digital, nanotherapeutics), and cross-disciplinary ecosystem development. His work addresses how scientific discoveries are commercialized, scaled, and translated into public value through strategic frameworks, with publications in Strategic Management Journal, Organization Studies, and Nature Nanotechnology.
