Jared Wohlgemut is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Trauma Sciences, Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University of London. He studied Medicine at the University of Aberdeen and holds an MSc in Trauma Sciences (with Distinction) from Queen Mary University of London. His career includes the Academic Foundation Programme (Mersey), Core Surgical Training (East of Scotland), and Specialist Training in General Surgery (West of Scotland).
His research focuses on developing clinical decision support tools using Bayesian Network prognostic models for trauma care in forward healthcare settings. He is actively involved in the COMBAT-AID project, a collaboration between the Centre for Trauma Science and the Risk and Information Management groups at Queen Mary University of London.
His work bridges academic trauma research with computational methods to improve decision-making in emergency surgical contexts.
