Jared Miles is a Senior Lecturer at the The University of Queensland School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. A proud Yuwi man and registered pharmacist, he serves as Director of Indigenous Engagement and holds an affiliate position with the UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health.

- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, The University of Queensland (2021)
His research bridges two critical domains:
- 3D Printing Medicines - Developing novel dosage forms using selective laser sintering and fused deposition modeling for personalized drug delivery
- Culturally Safe Healthcare - Advancing Indigenous health outcomes through community-engaged pharmacy practice models
Recent publications demonstrate technical innovation in 3D printed prednisone tablets and clinical translation of additive manufacturing. Current projects focus on nicotine metabolism in Indigenous populations and pharmacist-led cardiovascular care transitions.
As principal advisor, he supervises PhD candidates in:
- Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) for oral dosage forms
- 3D printed pharmaceutical design
