Jared Colton serves as Associate Professor of Technical Communication and Rhetoric in Utah State University's Department of English and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. from Clemson University (2014), an M.A. from Washington State University (2010), and a B.A. from Utah Valley University (2008).
Dr. Colton's research explores the intersections of rhetorical theory, ethics, and technology. Current projects examine ethical frameworks for AI communication and accessibility technologies. His scholarship addresses digital ethics, social justice in technical communication, and virtue ethics in technology.
