Jared Bobrow

Jared Bobrow serves as a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, teaching patent litigation while maintaining his primary role as a Partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. He co-chairs the firm's global Intellectual Property practice group and has been practicing patent law since the late 1980s.

Mr. Bobrow specializes in patent disputes across district courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, with particular expertise in trade secrets involving complex technology. His practice spans semiconductor technology, medical devices, network communications, wireless technologies, and software. As a hands-on litigator, he has first-chaired patent jury trials, dozens of claim construction hearings, and argued before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Clients value his ability to manage complex cases efficiently while weaving facts and law into compelling narratives for judges and juries.
