Janusz Edward Kasperczyk

Prof. Janusz Edward Kasperczyk is a research and teaching professor at the Medical University of Silesia. He holds the position of head of the Department of Biopharmacy and is affiliated with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Sosnowiec. His career milestones include becoming a professor in 2009, habilitated doctor in 2002, and earning his doctorate in 1985.

His research focuses on pharmaceutical sciences, biocompatible materials, toxicology, and polymer chemistry. Notable areas of study include small polyesters, biocompatible materials for stents, and cell-line research. He has contributed to over 344 publications, 23 patents, and 3 research projects.
