Janusz Bucki is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Materials Design, Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology. He obtained his doctorate in 1992 and maintains an active research profile with 14 publications and supervision of 8 theses. His office is located in Room 308 at the WIM campus (Wołoska 141).
Research interests span quantitative microstructure analysis, materials characterization, and applied engineering:
- Advanced Microscopy: Specialization in electron microscopy and image analysis of metal alloys, ceramics, and composites
- Materials Design: Focus on grain growth, tool wear, porosity, and SiC applications
- Industrial Applications: Development of high-temperature sensors, dental biomaterials, and tungsten composites
