Dr. Jannis Kück is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Institute of Statistics, Faculty of Business Administration, University of Hamburg. His research focuses on high-dimensional statistics, econometrics, causal inference, and machine learning applications. He holds a PhD in Statistics (2020) and has conducted research stays at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and the University of California, Irvine (USA).
Education: PhD in Statistics (summa cum laude, 2020), M.Sc. Business Mathematics (distinction, 2016), and B.Sc. Business Mathematics (2014), all from the University of Hamburg. His academic work emphasizes methodological advancements in high-dimensional models and causal machine learning.
Research interests include high-dimensional statistics, econometric modeling, causal inference, and applications of machine learning in economics and business.
