Jannette van Beek

Dr. Jannette van Beek is a part-time Lecturer and Education Coordinator at the Urban Economics Group (formerly Economics of Consumers and Households Group) at Wageningen University since 2016. Her academic journey includes a BSc in Psychology (Utrecht University, 2010) with a focus on Clinical and Health Psychology, followed by a Research Master in Social and Health Psychology (Utrecht University, cum laude, 2011). She completed her PhD at Wageningen University's Economics of Consumers and Households Group (2011-2016), researching time orientation and self-control in health behavior. Her expertise spans behavioral economics, consumer behavior, experimental design, and quantitative methods.
