Janine Mauzeroll is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at McGill University, affiliated with the Faculty of Science. She holds a B.Sc. from McGill University (1999) and a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin (2004). Her postdoctoral research was conducted at Université de Paris 7 (2004–2005). She has held academic roles at Université du Québec à Montréal (2005–2011) and McGill University since 2012, advancing to full Professor in 2018. Her research focuses on corrosion mechanisms, electrochemical sensors, and energy storage materials, with industrial collaborations including Hydro-Québec. She leads the Mauzeroll Group, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches combining electrochemistry, microscopy, and materials science.
