Janine Krecko is Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at Charles Sturt University. Her research examines teacher preparation, Australian Professional Standards implementation, and work-integrated learning. She received the 2024 Research Excellence Award for contributions to early childhood interdisciplinary research.
Krecko coordinates workplace learning for early childhood programs and serves on the Children Voices Centre steering committee. Her current project investigates mentor teachers' understanding of professional standards during practicum supervision.
