Dr. Janine Berns is an Associate Professor at the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures, Radboud University, affiliated with the Centre for Language Studies. She teaches language skills and linguistics in the BA Romance Languages & Cultures, MA Language Variation and Multilingualism, and the Educational Master's programme.
- Research focuses on phonological language variation/change and second/foreign language acquisition (French specialization)
- Active in educational innovation as a Teacher Ambassador at the Radboud Teaching and Learning Centre
- Member of the Representative Council of the Faculty of Arts
