Janina Müller is a doctoral researcher at the Institute for Psychology, Unit of Health Psychology, at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt. She is supervised by Prof. Heather M. Foran and focuses on loneliness, social isolation, family relationships, and mental health.
Research Overview: Her dissertation project examines ICT interventions to reduce loneliness and social isolation among older adults, leading to the development of the "Connect2Family" psychoeducational program. This intervention aims to address technology-related psychological, educational, and technical barriers, enhancing intergenerational interactions and health outcomes.
Projects & Collaborations: Janina has contributed to international research initiatives such as the RISE project in Southeastern Europe and the Family Validation Study at Klagenfurt University.
