Janina Müller is a doctoral researcher at the Institute for Psychology, Unit of Health Psychology, at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt. She is supervised by Prof. Heather M. Foran and focuses on loneliness, social isolation, family relationships, and mental health.
Research Overview: Her dissertation project examines ICT interventions to reduce loneliness and social isolation among older adults, leading to the development of the "Connect2Family" psychoeducational program. This intervention aims to address technology-related psychological, educational, and technical barriers, enhancing intergenerational interactions and health outcomes.
Projects & Collaborations: Janina has contributed to international research initiatives such as the RISE project in Southeastern Europe and the Family Validation Study at Klagenfurt University. She has presented at major conferences including the World Congress on Public Health and the European Public Health Conference.
