Janina Kamm

Dr. Janina Kamm is a faculty member in the Department of Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She earned her PsyD from The Chicago School in 2015 and completed a two-year clinical and research fellowship at the University of Iowa's Benton Neuropsychology Clinic under Dr. Daniel Tranel, an expert in neuropsychology. Dr. Kamm has extensive clinical experience across diverse settings, including VA Hospitals, academic medical centers, and private practice.

Her research focuses on post-surgical cognitive outcomes for neurosurgical patients, with particular emphasis on neuropsychological assessment and prediction of recovery. Her work spans neurosurgical populations such as Chiari malformation type I patients and epilepsy patients undergoing temporal lobectomy, examining FDG-PET uptake, seizure outcomes, and neuroimaging techniques for localization.

Dr. Kamm's publications include studies on cognitive outcomes after surgery, neuroimaging techniques, and neuropsychological assessment tools. She has contributed to journals like Neurosurgery, Epilepsy & Behavior, and Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology.
