Janice Rogers Brown is a Lecturer and Senior Fellow in the Public Law & Policy Program, as well as a Senior Visiting Jurist. She retired from the judiciary in 2017 after serving on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and California Supreme Court. Her extensive legal career includes roles as Legal Affairs Secretary to California Governor Pete Wilson, appellate work in the Attorney General's Office, and adjunct professorship at McGeorge School of Law.
