Prof. Dr. Janett Reinstädler is a University Professor at the Department of Romance Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, Saarland University. Her research focuses on Hispanic literature and cultural studies, with an emphasis on transcultural intersections of the everyday and the political, postcolonial and decolonial approaches, and cultural reparation practices. She actively organizes international seminars, guest lectures, and cultural events, including collaborations with institutions in Spain, Latin America, and the Caribbean, and contributes to academic journals like Iberomania and Revista de Estudios Culturales y de los Medios.
Her work spans Latin American cultural narratives, queer linguistic landscapes, and memory studies, as evidenced by her co-organized seminars on topics such as "Archivo Sevilla: Memorias transculturales" and her involvement in the Käte Hamburger Kolleg CURE. She also promotes innovative teaching methods, including AI applications in language education.
