Janet M. Davis is a Professor in the Department of American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin’s College of Liberal Arts, where she has taught since 1998. She earned her Ph.D. in U.S. History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and serves as Director of the Plan II Honors program.
