Janet Alsup is a Professor of English Education at Purdue University's College of Education, where she has been a faculty member since 2000. Her career includes administrative roles as Department Head (2016–2024) and Interim Department Head (2019–2021) of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Studies respectively. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in English and literacy education, including ENGL 39100 Composition for Teachers and EDCI 55100 Young Adult Literature.
