Janell Briscoe

Janell Briscoe is an Instructor in the Department of Health Administration and Health Policy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center's College of Public Health. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare management, she has held leadership roles at Baylor Health Care System, Tenet Health Systems, Children’s Health, Cook Children’s, and Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospitals, where she served as Chief Executive Officer for five years until her retirement in 2021. Her expertise spans healthcare operations, reimbursement models, electronic health record implementations, and facility expansions in diverse healthcare settings.

• Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University
