Janeen Smith

Janeen Smith, MD is a Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine and Service Chief of Tele Emergency and Urgent Care for VISN 21 (Veteran Integrated Service Network) of the Veterans Health Administration. Her clinical work includes emergency department evaluations and virtual telehealth consultations for veterans in Northern California, Nevada, and the Pacific Islands. She leads the national SimLEARN Telehealth Mini-Residency program and developed the Tele Emergency Care Tracker, a CRM tool for safe virtual patient handoffs and quality reporting.
