Professor Jane Cleland-Huang holds the position of Professor of Software Engineering at the University of Notre Dame du Lac, Indiana, USA. She was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Gothenburg in 2018. Her research focuses on requirements engineering, safety-critical systems, and traceability. Prior to academia, she worked in industry as a software developer.
Education: PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Current roles include Director of the Software and Requirements Engineering Research Lab and North American Director of the Center of Excellence for Software Traceability.
