Jane Blowers is an Associate Professor in the School of Health Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UEA). With a career spanning over three decades, she specializes in mental health nursing, professional integrity in healthcare education, and violence/aggression management in clinical settings. Her roles at UEA include Practice Education Lead for pre-registration mental health nursing programs, and she has held leadership positions such as Associate Dean for Teaching and Quality.
Education:
- BSc (Hons) Health Studies (Nottingham Trent University, part-time)
- MA (Higher Education) from UEA
- EdD (Doctorate in Education) from UEA School of Education
Research Interests: Focuses on professional integrity in nursing education, curriculum development for healthcare, and effective management of aggression in mental health settings. Recent work includes a grounded theory study on nurturing professional integrity among nursing students.
