Jana Verboom-Vasiljev

Dr. Jana Verboom-Vasiljev is a Lecturer at Wageningen University & Research in the Department of Earth Systems and Global Change. Her research examines biodiversity conservation, climate change impacts on ecosystems, and human-nature interactions. She serves as a teacher within the WIMEK graduate school and leads research projects on land-use policy and ecological modeling.

Research interests span biodiversity conservation under climate change, land-based mitigation strategies, and the health benefits of green spaces. Her work integrates ecological modeling with policy analysis to address conservation challenges in human-modified landscapes.
