Jana Pejoska is a Researcher at the Cicero - brain, learning and technology group within the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Helsinki University. She holds a Doctoral degree in Arts and Design from Aalto University (2025), a Master's in Humanities from the University of Jyväskylä (2010), and a Bachelor's in Humanities from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (2006). Her work focuses on design research, digital culture, and mixed reality, with notable contributions to context-aware interaction design and cultural coding methodologies.
Research Interests include New Media, Design Research, Digital Humanities, and Posthumanism. Recent projects explore affective computing in workplaces and emotion-driven digital innovation. Her award-winning work includes third place in the 2015 Wearable Enhanced Learning Design Challenge.
Publications highlight themes like workplace heart rate visualization (2021) and collaborative affect monitoring (2019). She actively participates in conferences such as Interactive Technologies in Education and the Humex seminar, contributing to discussions on learning environments and technology.
