Jana Giceva

Prof. Dr. Jana Giceva is a Professor for Database Systems at the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology since 2020. Her research bridges database systems with modern computer architecture, focusing on hardware-aware data processing, operating system integration, and efficient execution of big data workloads. She previously held roles at Imperial College London, Microsoft Research, and Oracle Labs.
